A day in the life

Sometimes life just goes so fast and you tend to forget the everyday funnies that make life worth living. Karsten has brought so much laughter and joy to us and we love to share that with our family and friends.

Here a just two shots of Karsten "in the moment" enjoying life to the fullest! She has recently discovered what we call her pink ladies...her rock star shades :-)

Driving Aunt Traci's car is WAAAAAYYYYY more fun than watching cousin Richie's soccer game-and warmer inside too!

First Dental Visit

So as many of you know, Karsten is a finger sucker. She never like the binkie and in fact she found her two middle fingers on her left hand all on her own. She is very specific to those fingers, on that hand only. We were concerned that all of her sucking may affect the development of her mouth and teeth, so off to the pediatric dentist we went.

HOLY COW! What a dream for a kid-they did not have stuff like this when we went to the dentist as a kiddo. She made a beeline for the train set right in the lobby and note the blue slide coming out of the wall next to her. They had a jungle gym, video games, a huge flat screen TV in the lobby playing cartoons and so much more. Above each dental chair there were individual flat screen TVs with headphones...what a life!

Learning how to brush-the strawberry flavor was a bit much to get used to.

New Toys!

Karsten was blessed with new Little Tikes toys from Gaga and Papa.

She has had so much fun playing with them.

New wheelbarrow, shovels, rake, gloves, watering can...now she can help Daddy in his garden!

Once she figured out that Daddy was putting together a car for her, she would not even wait for him to finish...she played in it while he still constructed the rest! She is VERY familiar with this "Cozy Coupe" as she plays in it all the time at school. That car has already seen some miles put on it-in and out, in and out every day since she received it :-) She has mastered going in reverse, but still a challenge to move forward.

Daddy's Girl

Karsten enjoying playing in the dirt with Daddy while he gets his garden prepped for planting. Mmmmm...rocks to explore.

Apparently she also like to eat dirt...oh, the life of a child! :-)
