School Birthday Party!

We took cupcakes to school today for Karsten to share with her friends. There was enough for every class-I even had a mom from another class comment on how excited her son was that Karsten brought enough treats for EVERYONE at school! Thank you to the school director for sending these to Mommy!

Family Birthday Party

We celebrated Karsten's birthday early with family dinner and cake. Karsten was a champ at blowing out the candles and licking the icing off of them!

Snuggle Time

Karsten decided to join Mommy who was all snuggled up on the floor. We had to make sure there was enough room for baby to snuggle with her own blankie too!

Reading with Grandpa

Karsten and Grandpa were having such a good time reading stories tonight! She was just giggling and squealing as Grandpa read her the book, "Don't Be So Nosey Posey" about a pig that wants to know everything :-)

NO SCHOOL-fun times with Daddy!

Mommy had to work, but Karsten and Daddy both had a holiday today for President's Day. They met up with Nicci, Levi and Karsten's favorite friends Dawson and baby Millie Lou. They went bowling at Triple Play! All Karsten could talk about were the big pins going crash and falling down.

Adventures in Dressing Up

So not only does Karsten like to dress up in layers, she has also learned about undergarments. Her new favorite is to put on Mommy's "big girl" undies! She was fresh out of the bathtub today and went straight for this pair right after she got her diaper on. At least she is learning about how to put them on the correct way...although we need to work on the arms going in too! SHE IS SO PROUD OF HERSELF!

A new toy!

We had some friends over for dinner tonight and they showed up with a gift for Karsten. She fell in love with this puppy and was quite enthralled with the fact that she had two buttons to control it. Too bad the batteries wore out in a matter of days...
