Kids Costume Party

We were invited to a kids costume party with a few of Karsten's friends from school and a few of the parents that we hung out with in our younger years. We started the day off by picking apples right from the trees and then feeding the horses-what a funny experience that was. We watched apple juice being made right before our eyes! It was so fun to see the kids interact and play with each other. It was total chaos and fun had by all!

This horsie was buckin' broncos all night!

All 15 kids-with the fireman running from the photo.

Note the princess want up Karsten's nose!

Decorate your own cupcakes!
Super cute, with a mouth full of yummy-ness!

And then came the noise. We had the cow bells,

the bell choir, you name it making noise!

Fall fun!

We decorated the house this weekend and carved pumpkins with friends last night. A great rain storm brought way to a beautiful fall day. I love this time of year!

First Day Of Sunday School

Today Karsten painted her handprints to make her butterfly for Sunday school. She was so excited to be a part of the big kids!

The "Punkum" Patch

Today Karsten's school went on a field trip to Carver Farms to visit the "punkum" patch. We had a great time and Gaga was able to join us too!

First Day of Swim Lessons!

Karsten had a great day at swim lessons. She is in 30 minute private lessons at a home in downtown Coeur d'Alene.
We had to talk ahead of time about how this was a special pool with a tent over it and that she did not need to put sunscreen on!
Her new teacher is Miss Lona and she jumped right into the pool with her. We are excited for next week to see how she does.

Homecoming

We decided to head to Moscow for some U of I homecoming festivities. The weather was beautiful and I even got a bit melancholy walking thru campus showing Karsten lots of new things. There are many new buildings for us to see too since we were at school there, but the "feel" of the campus is still the same-GREAT memories!

We went to the Volleyball game on Friday night to watch Ashlan, a cousin of Chris, who plays for Utah State. We rooted for her and sate with the opposing fans, but still sang the fight song loud and proud. In fact, Karsten can now sing a great I D A H O, Idaho, Idaho GO GO GO...with her fist pumping and all!

Karsten and Joe Vandal-still not too sure what to think of him!
On lovely Main Street waiting for the parade to start.

Mason and Karsten-best friends from school.

And both of his parents are Vandals too!

New Vandal gear and the favorite of the day-a POM POM!

Beautiful blue skies and a great weekend for us.

So many good memories and really fun to bring Karsten to enjoy too.

Maybe we'll have a future Vandal?

Greenbluff!

We had a great fall day as we took our annual trip to Greenbluff for pumpkins, apples, and lots of FUN! We took Grandpa and Grandma with us as they had never been there before. We had a great time as usual and had a special lunch of PIE and ice cream!

Play Time!

After the petting zoo it was off to play! Pony ride, slide, swings, box full of dried peas-play to your hearts content.

Petting Zoo

The morning started with a visit to the petting zoo. Karsten loves animals and was really good with getting in there and feeding, petting and experiencing everything.
