Surprise for Mommy!

Karsten and Daddy had a surprise up their sleeve and went to Super 1 to make mommy a special Mother's Day cake. It was even more special as the bottom of the cake had two finger marks from where Karsten had taken a snitcheroo!

Big Girl Cups

We are branching out and Karsten is SO excited to use cups without a lid. As she puts it "Karsten use a big girl cup"! So true.

Student of the Month

Karsten was chosen as student of the month at school. We had to bring in pictures of her and then the school made a collage poster to hang in the entry way of school. What fun and how exciting for Karsten to be highlighted!

Sunday fun with the Cushmans

Sunday morning we got a text from Nicci telling us that they were walking to the school playground to let Dawson play...and they had warm blueberry muffins in tow. Karsten and I were snuggling in bed watching cartoons and Daddy was working on his homework, but we decided to quickly get dressed and join the Cushmans. It was a beautiful sunny day, albeit breezy and a tad bit chilly, but we could not resist the urge to get outside for some fresh air!

Dawson was a bit chilly so we lent him Karsten's fleece-

purple and a size too small, but hey, 2 year olds don't discriminate!

Karsten's "Usic"

This is a typicaly sight in the Towery household lately. Karsten up on ANYTHING that she can climb on and turning on her "usic". She has not gotten the "m" part of the word music down yet, but boy does she know how to turn the music on and crank up the volume-she does not like it playing softly! She dances around and sings like crazy-with the correct words I might add! She loves to sing her praises to Jesus or along with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pooh.

Come on SUNSHINE!

It is simply amazing what a little bit of sun and warmth can do for plants. They perk back up with big smiles just like it never snowed, rained, sleeted, hailed... We seem to be feeling that way this spring too!

PEE PEE in the POTTY!

Oh, yeah! You know what that is-PEE PEE in the POTTY! YEAH :-) Karsten is getting there. We have had her potty sitting in the bathroom since her birthday and she has been pretty good at playing with it, but not much success on it. That is until we heard the her say, "I go poop"! WOWWIE-way to make a set of parents drop everything and rip clothes and a diaper off! We just need to get the concept of #1 and #2 figured out now!

Godparents are GREAT!

Karsten's Godparents are wonderful! They send her gifts on her baptism birthday, Christmas and Easter too. On such a special day as today, the gifts were simply AWESOME! Auntie Lizz and Uncle Blake, Karsten is so blessed to have you be a guiding light in her spiritual walk and faith building. You would love to hear in person her singing, "Jesus love me, this I know..."! Thanks and we love you!
