39 Weeks

Whoa big Momma! We have hit the 39 week point and I feel it! We are ready to go and it is just the waiting game from here on out. I am still walking and trying to get things MOVING...let's see if she cooperates.

We'll keep you posted with the progress and hope to have pictures of our little one up on here sooner than later.

Nursery update

We have been working to get the nursery all put together before we bring little one home. Many of you have asked for updates so here is a picture. We are currently working on the main wall in her room and a place to her name. So once we reveal her name we'll update more nursery pictures.

Nesting!

So we hear that toward the end of pregnancy that the nesting instinct kicks in. Well it is in overdrive for Daddy, but not Mommy! I think that I did my nesting about a month and a half ago before we had company in town and the baby shower at our house. But Chris is in full nesting mode now. It is pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

He has been making dinner quite a bit as I am beat by the time I get home from work. And he does dishes too! He is a morning person and gets up before me so I have been waking up to breakfast every morning-and I am not talking cereal-it was deluxe omlettes the other morning! I came home to coffee cake from scratch the other day and he made chocolate swirl brownies for me to take to a friends house. I am SPOILED by my hubby!

Our little girl has no idea how ready her Daddy is to bring her home. He has been making sure that her room is ready for her, has been washing her clothes, cleaning and detailing the cars, you name it!

37 weeks

We are hanging in there...or should we say OUT there! Still feeling good for the most part, but very tired after work these days. I usually come home from work, eat dinner, take a bath and crash. I am still trying to work these last few weeks so I can take more time off after the baby arrives.

Things are pretty well in order. We feel ready and prepared, so it is just the waiting game now. The car seat is ready to go, hospital bag is pretty much packed, etc. The countdown is on...

Pheasant Hunting

Chris and his dad went pheasant hunting this weekend. They were down south east of Lewiston, ID in Peck to be exact-close to the Clearwater River where they love to fish. They had a great time and have many stories to tell. They came home with 17 birds (pheasant and chukar) and 2 hides of the pheasant (is that what you call the whole skin and feathers?)

35.5 weeks

So here we are at 35.5 weeks. We cannot believe that time is flying so fast now. We are counting down the weeks and cannot believe that we are darn near a month away-if she comes on time. We are pretty much prepared, which probably means that she will be late! The excitement is becoming more and more real...that is until the sleepless nights occur :-)

Pregnancy Pictures

Practicing "Daddy"

Over the baby shower weekend we were so excited to have my college roommate, Cindy and her two boys visit and stay with us. Walker-almost 3 years and Bodie-7 months were so much fun and full of energy.



Chris was such a big help and took Walker and my nephew Tommy-almost 6 years old- to McDonalds and and then to play during the baby shower. The boys went bowling, mini golfing, played air hockey and many more arcade games. Chris got to practice "Daddy" over the weekend and is quite good if I do say so myself!

Coeur d'Alene Baby Shower

"An Evening of Indulgence" was the theme of the Coeur d'Alene baby shower. We had so much YUMMY food and treats homemade by my sisters, mom, niece Sarah and friend Cindy. A good time was had by all and our little girl is spoiled with all of the gifts that she received. We are so blessed to have such WONDERFUL family and friends share in our excitement of this new chapter in life.

33 weeks

So today marks 33 weeks. It is amazing how quickly time is flying now! We kept thinking that we needed to make it through the holidays and then we could get ready for little one to come. HOLY COW-look out, it is coming FAST!

I am still feeling well, she is still moving like crazy and we are in the single digits now :-)
